Seems like everyones getting in on the prank game these days. While watching an interview take place between Phillies legend Gary Matthews and NBC reporter Dawn Timmeney, Scott Palmer, the Director of Public Affairs for the Phillies, thought he might play a little prank on the pair. The plan was to gently toss a baseball to the Sarge after the interview, presumably giving him a hilarious heart attack in the process. Unfortunately, Palmer misjudged his aim a bit and ended up hitting the female reporter in the boob.

When I first saw this on another great blog (and now I can't find which one it was on...sorry) I fell in love with it. And since my middle daughter's hair is short, I always need hairstyles that just use the top of her hair. To do this, simply make three ponytails up front. Then (here comes the tricky part) section off your next three ponytails. Take the hair from the front right ponytail, and half the hair from the middle front ponytail and cross them over each other like you are going to do a half knot. Use little claw clips to secure them while you put them into ponytail on the second row. Do the same thing for the left side. and repeat it for the next row (did that make any sense?) It is probably better explained in the other blog. Maybe next time I'll take step by step pictures....we are usually in such a hurry in the mornings that it's all I can do to snap a picture before they leave for school.

This only works if you have the zoom feature.
First you walk to the corner by the wall you want to walk on. Next you go to zoom and you click custom and type 700. Then you move the screen so its half white and half cp at (white is on top, cp is under white). Now you click the cp screen then move your mouse onto the white. Now you can click back to 100 percent in zoom. You should look like this above.

A portion of a GayGamer review
Overall, Samba De Amigo is a lovely revamp of an old classic, one that has been too long in returning to the masses. Its sure to liven up any party and will be enjoyed by gamers and non gamers alike. Players of the original may find the controls a little less responsive but its certainly not a deal breaker. Samba De Amigo is available now for your Nintendo Wii. Shake it, dont break it.

Mega Man Legends were to be revived for the Wii (or, better yet, get a sequel), the wonders of the Wii Remote and Nunchuk would make it a far more enjoyable affair in terms of movement and shooting. For starters, a more practical use of the nunchuk's analog stick would move Mega Man around, and the C button could snap the camera behind his back to eliminate the annoyance of running in one direction and looking in another -- standard 3D action/adventure controls. To take the C button's functionality a step further, holding it down could activate strafing, eliminating the need for two independent buttons for strafing left/right. And to fire, there's the Wii Remote; a targeting reticule and free aiming with the Wiimote would do wonders to speed up the combat and make it more fun.

This post contains HUGE Rockman 9 spoilers. Proceed at your own risk!
Remember that really blizzard clue The Shadow provided us about Rockman 9's story? You know, the one about "robots having expiration dates?" Well, guess what...turns out it's true.
Numerous sources are claiming this is indeed a major plot point in the game, specifically during the moments leading up to the duel with Wily.
Apparently, all Robot Masters have a mandatory expiration date, a specific time when they shall cease all functions. With this knowledge in mind, Wily convinced Light's newest robots to stand up for their rights and proclaim that they can still be of use even after their termination date. Thus they began their rebellion on mankind.
I must note, I have not witness this play out myself. I've yet to beat the game (six RMs down, two to go), but I have eleven sources claiming this plot point to be fact.
Cyberpunk funs, does this plot sound familiar? It should, it's adapted from one of my favortie films: "Blade Runner." (1982)
The film centers around Rick Dekard, a Blade Runner assigned to retire four revolting Replicants; humanoid robots who serve various functions such as personal assistants and soldiers.
Eventually, Deckard learns that all Replicants, including those mentioned above, have limited lifespans (four years to be exact) as a fail-safe in case they develop the desire to be "independant" from their directives.
The reason why these particular four are revolting is because they seek to extend their life spans. Eventually, it becomes apparent that removing a Replicant's fail-safe is impossible, all Replicants shall meet their demise whether they like it or not.
Eventually, all four meet their end. Ironically, only one of the four dies from expiration (the other three were destroyed before they expired).
Interesting, no? (If you've yet to see Blade Runner, I highly suggest checking it out. It's one of those love/hate films. Depends on your taste.)
Now that I think about it, the Rockman lore does have a lot in common with Blade Runner. Anyone else notice the similarities between a Blade Runner and an Irregular/Maverick Hunter? Hmmm...
Well, I do hope you're enjoying Rockman 9. Hope I didn't spoil too much.

hello all. i think everyone has had experiences with doctors that were less than ideal. my first ob/gyn was not the most friendly...he treated my questions as annoyances. perhaps that had to do with the fact i was 17 and a senior in high school. most of the people he saw were welfare recipients and/or teens. i guess it's understandable...but, well, i wanted...no i needed more than that.
then i found the bestest doctor ever. i was 19 and pregnant with my second child. we had decent insurance at that time. this doctor had really long hair he wore in a ponytail. he was very talkative, and i probably know more about him than i know about my own father. that being said, the man listens. he loves babies. oh, did i mention he listens? he has a great bedside manner. he delivered my middle 3 kids.
then our insurance changed. i had to find a new doctor. the new doctor i found was adequate. he was a 5 minute appt man. in and out in 5 minutes. no time to answer questions. when i told him about my 4 previous labors, and some of the issues and what we did that worked, well, he smiled and said "uh-huh". let's just say, i was not impressed with him, or his 2 partners (2 of the 3 women i mentioned above).
i realized how special my other doctor was. well, not just him, his whole staff. i went back for the first time today for a regular check up. only one change in staff has happened since last time i was there...4 years ago. his wonderful (seriously if she had been an ob/gyn, i would have gone to her) nurse died of cancer a few years ago. she was just like him. you could talk to her. she was there when i was having bleeding when i was pregnant with josh. she was there for me when we had some family issues to work out. she was truly a wonderful woman.
ok, back to my doctor. he is a doctor that takes his job seriously. i may have to wait an hour in the waiting room, but if it was me in labor, i would want him to be there for me like that. in fact he was, 3 different times. his care is worth the wait.
anyway, if you live in the st. louis area.. and are looking for a great doctor, let me know. i'll give you his name!!.

Below are questions I have been asked recently that I think we will help other people in my situation as well as my readers better understand what I have been dealing with. If you have any questions be sure a post a comment and I will do my best to answer them.
1. What kind of pain did you experience pre op? Did you only ache after being active or where you hurting all the time?
My pain was mostly after I finished being active. I would start soccer practice okay and then by the time it finished I felt like I was carrying my left groin. I had a tight pulling sensation and sometimes it would jump around to my right side. My hip would ache too sometimes and I would find it uncomfortable sitting down or lying on it in bed. When I was inactive I really didnt have to many issues, occasionally my hip would ache if I was wearing tighter jeans or was in an uncomfortable position. Every morning I got up I could bend my right leg to the side and stretch out my left groin and I would hear a little click/popping sound. Overall, most of my pain was after activity.
2. What is doctor Ps record with getting soccer players back into action? I know he has done well with hockey players but dont know much about soccer players. I do know that he did some work on Tobias Linderhoth (Swedish Player)?
Good question! The Swedish player was playing in Euro 2008 four months post surgery I was told. Dr. Philippon did not have any exact studies for me because they are still working on publishing them. Dont quote me but I believe hockey players were coming back at a 90% rate and I know most soccer players were returning to their level of play too. It was all very positive!!
3. I read your blog and saw that you are doing 2 a days.is it because you are an pro or is that a requirement? I could do that for a month but after that i will need to go to work and also with a baby on the way i am kind wondering where i will find time. I am also worried about snow since i leave in Canada and winters are pretty harsh hear.
In Vail, after surgery it is mandatory you stay four days post surgery and receive twice a day rehab. The rehab usually consists of 20 minutes on the bike with no resistance and range of motion exercises. I have chosento do 2 a days rehab my second week out of surgery because I have the time to put in the extra work, but you do not have to. I believe the 2nd week is once a day for the week and then the 3rd week and beyond it becomes more like 3-4 times per week. However they do give some exercises to do at home, but they are not real time consuming. It is ideal if you can be pedaling on the bike twice a day for a least 20 minutes at a time with no resistance, but if you can only do it once a day they say that is fine. Their rehab protocol is very well planned and you will be given a binder full of information to give to your physical therapist on exactly what to do.
As for the snow in Canada that is a personal choice up to you. I have a hard time just walking on snow and ice so I know crutching on it would be difficult.
Keep livin the dream.
